6th Annual Healing Beyond the Horizon Gala

This event is an opportunity for individuals from across different cultures, professions, and backgrounds to come together to support one very important and worthy cause – access to needed healthcare and basic needs for the people in Cameroon. Specifically, funds raised from this Gala will go toward providing much-needed medical services and enabling access to critical medical equipment such as MRI in Cameroon.

Since Dr. Ekokobe Fonkem founded the organization in 2005, Healing Beyond the Horizon has provided healthcare, education, and/or fresh water for more than 11,000 individuals. Over the past year, Healing Beyond the Horizon has partnered with Fiangep

Polyclinic in Dschang, Cameroon. In association with Lekudo USA, we

sponsored a health fair in Dschang in March of 2022. During this three-day

event:

  - Over 1,000 patients were seen and evaluated

  - Thirty-five patients were able to receive surgical procedures

  - 113 patients were enrolled in a 90-day chronic disease

management program which included a steady supply of

necessary medications.

With support of our partners and general donations of medical supplies,

Healing Beyond the Horizons was able to provide this service for under

$10,000. Over the next 12 months, we are planning on hosting at least two

more health fairs and hope to expand this service to other cities in

Cameroon.
